Silky Butternut Squash Soup with Sage Hazlenut Pesto

After our discovery that butternut squash and sage hazlenut pesto were such a good pairing, I decided to combine the two here. The soup was very silky (as promised) and really flavorful. Just doesn’t have a ton of substance to it, so would be good for lunch or as a side.
