Herb Linguine
I hadn’t done much cooking in the weeks leading up to our move, so as we started getting more settled in, I decided to make this homemade pasta recipe from Smitten Kitchen. Homemade pasta is a lot of fun to make, and not too difficult – this gave us enough pasta for 3 meals.

Dish Fresh Herb Linguine
Recipe Source Smitten Kitchen (via David Lebovitz’s new cookbook, which looks awesome)
Difficulty 7 / 10
Time to Complete 2 hours
Sides Served None…
Leftovers? Yes, we ate this 3 nights in a row
Lessons Learned Including herbs (or spinach) in pasta is a fun, unique way to get flavored pasta without using the sauce. Also, just use the Kitchenaid to knead the dough – trying to do the egg well was a terrible idea. Don’t have enough patience for that
Any Recipe Deviations? I used rosemary, basil, sage, and parsley instead of spinach, which sounds like it is more in line with what Lebovitz does
Make Again? Yes, definitely
Changes Next Time? Might be good to try it with a sauce that is not just butter and cheese. Maybe a cream sauce or just good olive oil would be good
