Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

Thanksgiving morning has to start out with some breakfast, right? I’ve been wanting to make these bad boys since Fall started – I saw Ree’s cinnamon roll post awhile back and have just been counting down the days for when we could make them. I love breakfast food, but I generally don’t want to spend the time to actually prepare a meal in the morning. With Thanksgiving approaching, I decided to make these the day before. While they turned out pretty well, the texture was slightly off and these things grew to be pretty massive as I let them sit in the refrigerator overnight. Next time, I will just cook right away.

Dish Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
Recipe Source Pioneer Woman
Difficulty 7 / 10
Time to Complete ~1.5 hours
Sides Served
Leftovers? Yes, makes ~16 rolls
Lessons Learned Letting dough sit out longer (or in the fridge) longer than instructed can really cause big changes
Any Recipe Deviations? Nope
Make Again? Yep – but I’d probably be more inclined to try some of Ree’s other awesome looking cinnamon roll recipes
Changes Next Time? Cook the rolls right after you shape them. I put them in the fridge overnight (because making them day of seems terrible), and the rolls ended up being very massive
