Brussels sprouts and pomegranates are fairly common Thanksgiving items, so we decided to find a way to get them in our meal. We make brussels sprouts all the time, but rarely do we shred it and eat it raw…

This turned out great. It was the first recipe we’ve used from Pinch of Yum, but I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more going forward. The dressing was very tasty and the acidity of the citrus really helped cut the bitterness of the raw sprouts.

Lessons Learned I have no idea how to slice brussels sprouts in a mandoline. I just used the food processor with the big cheese slicing disk and it worked fine
