I’ve been wanting to make this for awhile – I love slow cooker recipes and I love buffalo chicken. Drew and Vijen came over after doing a Pressbox event in our building, so it was easy to have this just waiting on the event to end. Drew didn’t tell me until after dinner, of course, that he doesn’t like buffalo chicken. But what can you do?
I really liked this. I thought the chicken was nice and moist and it took up the buffalo sauce flavor well. Em thought that buffalo sauce itself was not great and didn’t have enough flavor. Maybe this is because we bought some random type of buffalo sauce, or maybe we should put more sauce in next time. Either way, I think this is worth trying again with some better and/or more interesting sauce.

|Lessons Learned||Em doesn’t love basic buffalo sauce. It is super easy to make shredded chicken. We could follow this recipe with all sorts of sauces. I think we should buy some delicious buffalo sauce from BW3s or elsewhere (spicy garlic?) and try this again|

|Make Again?||Yes, but try a different buffalo sauce. I had to buy a random brand I had never heard of because it was all Dominic’s had. I think it could be much better with better sauce|
